Counselling For Teens

Tailored Sessions To The Individual Needs Of Each Young Person

Sessions are designed to help teens understand their emotions and behaviours in a safe confidential space where they can express themselves openly.
I practice with a relational, trauma-informed, neuro-affirming approach, building awareness and emotional skills through what can be a complex and
confusing life stage.
Teens are starting to explore their adult identity, they commonly experience high levels of of anxiety, doubt and self consciousness. They are discovering who they are, trying to find ways to be comfortable and how to fit in with their rapidly changing social environment. The counselling I provide can be extremely beneficial if your teenager is struggling to manage their emotions at this time.

My Approach is to build trust and connection, support emotional regulation, help them understand themselves, strengthen communication skills and develop coping tools for stress and anxiety.
